- Another consideration is that some people don't get a full Usenet news feed.
- They may have comp.lang.c, but not comp.unix.programmer and others. Asking an
- administator to ``bring in'' a newsgroup is time consuming.

- One place where we can send newbies is IRC. There is hardly a better way to get
- a nearly instant answer to some simple question. There is a #unix channnel, #c,
- #linux, #windowsnt, etc. Of course, the quality of answers varies over
- time---if you don't catch one of the knowledgeable regulars, you are out of
- luck.
